An injury only claim on your auto insurance is when you’ve been injured in a car accident and your vehicle wasn't involved.

You’d report an injury only claim if:

• You’re hurt as a passenger in someone else’s car
• You’re injured as a pedestrian or cyclist – like if you’re riding your bike or walking down the street and a car hits you.

Regardless of who’s at fault (whether it’s you or the driver), you should choose this option if you’re injured in one of these situations.
